Global Partnership Ministries was founded in 1991 to help respond to the newly opened doors in Eastern Europe.  Over the past 17 years, I have led well over 150 mission groups involving over 3000 people (check out our "Endorsements" page). In 2007, we served  about 465 volunteers on mission teams (see listing under "endorsements."  This year (2008), we have facilitated almost 900 short-term volunteers -- the majority here in Alaska.  I am especially proud of the fact that we facilitated mission teams in 16 Native villages this year here in Alaska -- all but three of these only reachable by airplane (or dogsled!). 

  I hold degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and a doctorate in missions from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I pastored for 14 years before I started this work. We believe that the Bible is God's Word, that people are lost without Christ, and that it is our responsiblity to get the Message to people.  We have also found that we usually have to serve people and demonstrate love before they are ready to listen to what we have to say.
